Course in Gem Faceting Design Using GemCad and Gem Cut Studio Program at the Gem and Jewelry Institute of Thailand
This program provides structured, hands-on training in gem faceting and stone cutting design using professional computer-aided design software. Participants are introduced to industry-standard applications for faceting design, with a primary focus on understanding software interfaces, tools, and core functions used in professional practice.
Practical exercises form the core of the program, allowing participants to apply digital design techniques using GemCad and Gem Cut Studio for accurate modeling, 3D visualization, and professional presentation.
The course concludes with the development and presentation of a complete gemstone design project, reinforcing both technical precision and creative problem-solving skills.

In this course, you will acquire a comprehensive understanding of gemstones by learning the essential techniques used for their accurate identification. Course of Gemstone Faceting Course
In this course, you will acquire a comprehensive understanding of gemstones by learning the essential techniques used for their accurate identification. You will master the fundamentals of gemstone characteristics and classification, while gaining the practical skills necessary to perform professional color stone grading. A key focus of the program is developing the confidence to distinguish between natural, synthetic, and imitation stones, as well as recognizing various gemstone treatments and enhancements. By the end of the training, you will be able to evaluate gemstones with precision, ensuring you can identify different types and their origins accurately

The machines used for teaching in our gem cutting and faceting course are professional-grade Facetron faceting machines, commonly used in the gem cutting industry.
